Brief Educational/Employment Background:
- 1986: Starts high school in Embrey, Indiana
- 1988: Gets first job at a 7-11
- 1988: drops out of high school and goes to New York City
- 1990: Gets job at Target, fired six months later
- 1990: Gets job as a dishwasher
- 1992: Fired from dishwashing job
- 1993: Steals some stuff, finds it pays better than real jobs
- 1996: Busted for stealing stuff, gets off on probation
- 1997: Gets married to girlfriend, gets a job as grocery store nightshift stocker
- 1998: Quits. Gets new job with carpet cleaning company.
- 1999: Busted for theft again, serves six months.
- 2000: Gets divorced
- 2002: Busted third time, serves nine months.
- 2005: After being arrested two more times in-between, runs in on movie audition while trying to evade cops and sent to LA to get detective lessons for his ‘acting’ and gets involved and helps solve big murder plot. Hired by private investigator Perry Van Shrike.
- 2006: Takes one of those crappy online college things to get an investigative assistant certificate. Barely passes.
- 2008: Perry needs some Harry-free time, and uses a contact in Crane, Poole and Schmidt New York to get Harry a job. (Perry also lets them know that Harry will do whatever he’s told. If they happen to tell him to jump off a building and he does it, Perry may not be too upset)

Personality: Harry’s kind of an idiot. But he’s an charming idiot. He tends to speed talk without thinking, and he gets easily excited. In general he’s a pretty upbeat guy, but he feels things strongly. He talks more than he fights, often getting into trouble, and he tries to do the right thing but usually ends up messing it up. He’d got bad luck with women, and life in general, and has a bad habit of not finishing what he starts, usually dropping what ever it is halfway through. Harry’s also pretty gullible.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes women, alcohol, breakfast, sleeping in, cigarettes, snakes, Johnny Gossamer books, Homestar Runner (and Strong Bad. Duh), and hoodies. Dislikes spiders, 8 am, getting dressed up, cops, movies with those crappy endings where everyone lives despite that they obviously died, assholes, bad 80s music, and stinky sweaty people that squish right up against you on public transportation.
Quirks: When asked what he does, Harry always lies. He doesn’t really know why, it just happens. Smokes a lot. He tends to steal things, either when he’s nervous or bored, or just wants a little thrill, like a pack of gum. Sucks at math.
Strengths/Weakness: Sometimes Harry does or says something so stupid that it ends up being smart. Like the old video games where you got such a high score that it flipped back to zero. Sometimes Harry does or says something so stupid that it’s just really… stupid. He wants to finish things, but often times he can’t for whatever reason. Harry does try to do the right thing, which could be both a strength and a weakness.

(Other: Harry is here for the summer. Perry wants him out of the office until August (and close to school starting) so that he can have some kind of vacation. He’s here to do whatever, literally, if you tell him to do something, he’ll probably do it. Also here for amusement.)
